My favourite subject in my career

Hello everyone, today I will talk about mi favourite subject in my career during my academic time , which is dentistry skills.

I like all the subjects a lot, but this is my favourite one because, for the moment, it is the most similar to dentistry work .

In this subject we learn about oral diseases, teeth problems, the different types of specialities in this career, the correct form to wash and take care of the oral cavity and much more.

In addition to the theoretical classes, we practice in the lab with dentistry tools such as the micro motor, a little mirror and different basic instruments.

For example, in one class we had to make a tooth carving it from a bar of soap. This activity helps us to learn about the anatomy of the tooth.

This subject is very important because it teaches us the basic knowledge and essential skills to be a good dentist.

Without these basic skills we would be lost when working with a patient, since we could not give a good diagnosis and do a professional treatment.

Well, as one of the most important subjects, it is also one of the most fun

Hello everyone, well today I want to talk about a topic that I personally like a lot, tattoos and body modifications.

Since childhood I have always wanted to have tattoos, this type of body expression is one of the oldest that exist. In some cultures is a sign of prestige, power or good socioeconomic level.But nowadays, the fact of having tattoos is not very popular for some people, this can be appreciated  when trying to get work, especially in the health area.

I personally believe that a person with tattoos has exactly the same chances as a person without them to become a great health profesional. We should not judge the appearance of people, rather their work performance, which in the end is the most important.It´s true there is a taboo about that tattooed people can not attend people because that is unhygienic, but the truth is that a cared and healed tattoo is  same as the skin, only that has ink underneath.

Imagine that a person has been working in the health area for years and decides to get a tattoo, will it make him less professional? I don’t think so...

I hope that when I graduate and have to work with patients, this taboo is gone and that society sees tattoos as a way of expression and art, not as something unhygienic and as something that closes you opportunities in life.

The best holidays ever!!

Hello guys, today I’m gonna tell you about one of my best holidays ever.

Since I was fourteen years old, I’ve been part of the scout movement in the group “Sagrado Corazón” of San Bernardo. With my troop called Meli Nehuen we always went to camping in south of Chile.

One of the best camps I have memories of was in 2016 when we were in Conguillio, near Melipeuco. I remember we set up our camp very close to the top of a small hill that belonged to a mapuche community in the área. The owner of the place, Mr Jorge if I remember well, he let us stay there for two weeks, and in return we helped him to delimit his land by making and puting fences. In my troop we were almost forty people so it didn’t take us more than a day and a half to finish fencing the whole place. The rest of the time we were there, we did a lot of games and dynamics, but my favorite partwas when we did a trecking to the rainbow lagoon where we walcked almost a day and a half.

Most of the time we ate rice or noodles, typical travel food that is easy to prepare, we accompany it with salsa and tuna to give it a better flavor. We weren´t a very Good cooks, but it was Good anyway. Luckily Mr Jorge had a small stand of empanadas of morchela, which is a native mushroom at that place.

I really hop I can go back to that place in the future and see how much it´s changed ori f it´s still the same as I remember it.

I have had a many camps in my life, but definitely this has been one of the best for the beauty of the place, yhe people I went with and the memories I made.

A country i would like to visit

Since I was a child, the country I have always wanted to visit is Brazil, because I find that it is a country with one of the most beautiful and joyful cultures in the world, with all its celebrations and carnivals wich one day I will see in person.

Brazil has many places and tourist centers that I would like to see, as they are "Christ the Redeemer", "El Sugarloaf Mountain " and the beach of "Iponema".

These places have a unique beauty in which I would like to have good memories with my family or my friends, depends who come with me.

So what I`ve been researching, a good place to stay that are the Copacabana hotels, which have room service, gym, wifi, and a casino buffet with every you can eat.

Also, an activity that I would like to do is to travel by paragliding, is my dream since always.

I'm not sure if I would live in Bazil because I love Chile, but if I have the chance to live in Brazil for a month, I do it happy.

Another reason how i would like to visit brazil it's because I would like to learn his language. I feel this language it's so happines and energetic that even listening to it makes you want to dance a zamba.

Well, I don’t think my zamba is as good as that of the people over there, but practicing gets better.

I rily hope one day to be able to fulfil those dreams of visiting and learning the language of this great and beautiful country.

My experience using blogs

Hello everyone, today is my last blog in the semester and I would like talk about my experience in this "platform".

In my fist class using this web site, I can't knowing use the blog very well, but spent the time can learn how used this great web site and I liked so much.

In the different classes we write about various funny topics of interest, for example My favourite TV show, why I choose this career, My favourite place in Chile and another things.

In general, I liked so much write this blogs because I can practices my writing skills in English. I feel like my writing skills have increased a bit thanks to this practice and my vocabulary also I improve.

 In the future I would like include more topics related whit the career like the different specialities and apart this I would like write about my favourite sport, my favourite food, my favourite type of music and movies or something like this.

I really liked this experience with blogs a lot, and I might later continue to write blogs voluntarily
I would write about my holly days, my tastes, my university experiences, and many more things.

My favourite TV series.

Hello again to all, today I will speak to you of one of my favorite TV series, its name is "the Walking Dead".
The genre of this series is a combination of terror, fiction and a lot of suspense.
This series is based on an apocalyptic world which is reigned by the living dead, whom the survivors call "walkers".
The central plot will be based on the life of Rick Grimes, a sheriff who wakes up from a coma in a world full of dead people, but who for some reason that is still inexplicable, are still hanging around the living.
Rick’s main goal after waking up is to find his wife Lori and his son Carl, who were no longer at home and were missing. After a few events Rick reunites with his family who are now part of a group of survivors who will do whatever it takes to survive and remain united.
as time goes by, the group gets bigger and bigger, but equally important characters have remained in the way. Later the survivors will realize that not only must they take care of the walkers, but also of the living, who will begin to fight for the provisions, the weapons and the leadership.
Well, the idea isn’t to tell you the whole series either, so I hope you watch this great series, because I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I do.
